Well the plane didn’t crash and I made here to London, the flight was pretty good actually I watched a few movies, some documentaries and actually got some sleep. The stop over in Singapore was pretty lame…only 20mins for a refuel so I didn’t get to see much.

I am staying at the Generator Hostel in London and it’s pretty cool. Rooms are small and the showers are a little like a locker room but it’s very clean and warm.

Up early this morning because I completely crashed at about 2:30pm once I could check in, will head out today and start getting organised for the Eurotrip.

I will start posting photo’s tomorrow once I get to a real Internet cafe and can download some. The Internet here is just a screen, keyboard and mouse.

Well as a few of you know already I am heading overseas for 12 months in March and now it’s finally definite, I now have my plane tickets to London. I am leaving on the 18 March 08 for London, then I will be spending 2-3 months traveling around Europe via rail seeing as much as I can. Then I plan to head back to London and work for 4-5 months and hopefully save enough money to spend 2 weeks in German for the Oktoberfest and then over to New York to start my road trip across the states to Los Angeles. By the time this is finished it should be about mid November and time to start my Canadian ski season job at Whistler Ski Resort in Canada for the next 4 months.

I plan to keep a constant blog packed full of pictures so keep posted and leave comments when you can.

Monday night I picked up my new car. A white 1993 BMW 318i

I got it pretty cheap and with new 18″ chrome rims too! It’s in really good condition and runs well, I will probably end up putting it in an auction in a couple of months after I replace a few worn things so hopefully turn a profit on it.

Last night I was driving home in the rain and lost control on a bend in the road. I tried to brake and then accelerate out of the slide but there was just nothing to grip onto and the car slid straight off the road. Don’t really remember what exactly happened next as it was all too fast but i smashed into a heap of trees on the side of the road and came to a stop backwards just touching a fence. That fence was blocking off a massive drop down an embankment.

I jumped out quickly without a scratch on me but my baby was totaled. My insurance should consider it a write-off which is what I am hoping for because my excess is $1250 and I can’t really spare that just before xmas.

Fingers Crossed.

Leyton has been sick since we got back, ended up having to goto the hospital for IV…Hope you are feeling better mate.

Anyhow as Leyton has been sick I haven’t been able to pick up his half of the photos and videos from Thailand and thus haven’t finished my travel blog. He is back at work today so I should be able to pick them up tomorrow and will finish the blog.
