This weekend I saw the new Cohan brothers movie ‘Burn After Reading’ which was really funny, and quite dark. classic Cohan brothers.
On Saturday I tried to go to the gym at Baker St as it only just opened but when I arrived it turned out it was a ‘Black Label’ club and my membership doesn’t allow me to go there, so feeling like a second class citizen I just walked home.
Saturday night was really good though as we went out at Covent Garden to a few pubs and then to a club called ‘Roadhouse’ which was like an American rock themed club (looked a lot like a Hard Rock Cafe). There was a cool live band and the music they played after was awesome, however the £12 cover charge and the expensive drinks probably make it a one night only thing.
On Wednesday I have been invited by Seal’s manager to see Seal perform a private set at a famous club in West End called ‘Ronnie Scott’s’. He will be playing classic jazz songs from his new album Soul.
Seal is a new client of ours and I have the privilege of designing his new site www.seal.com and updating his social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook. I will post some pics from the event later in the week.

OK so I have been back in London for a few weeks now and just been a little lazy on the blog entries.
What have I been up to? …umm I have been working pretty hard, we have a heap of client work on lately which has been keeping me busy and I have finally just started on doing some work for Seal which I am pretty excited about.
Have been spending my money on drinks quiet a bit too, the picture above is from a night out in Gilford with a few guys I work with. Catching the tube home after a night out drinking is always a challenge.
On the weekend I visited the New Era: LND store (the place that makes those caps with the gold sticker that people leave on) and it was amazing, I didn’t get anything though cause the styles I wanted didn’t fit my big head (7 1/4 inches) but I will be back.
To finish off I have finally joined the gym again, Fitness First because I can go to any of their gyms in London which will make things easier for me on the way to and from work as well as being able to go to one near my place on the weekends. The hard part will be getting rid of 9mths of eating and drinking to excess.

I’m Back from my trip to Oktoberfest in München, Deutschland …and it was a blast!
I left early Saturday morning, the cab was late and it took ages to get to the airport but the flight was only 1.5hrs so it wasn’t long before I arrived in Munich. The campsite was next, where I planned to meet up with everyone, drop my bags and head off to the Beerfest as Saturday was the opening day and first drinks were only a hour or so before.
After a short free shuttle bus to the grounds I was there and it was amazing. I have never seen anything like it in my life, a sort of cross between the Ekka and a pub crawl but on a much much larger scale. The beer tents (or massive halls with gigantic beers or lions on the top of them) were packed to the brim and you couldn’t get a seat any where, even outside of them was packed. I think there would be been between 150 and 200,000 people there and almost everyone was drinking…fantastic.

Tomorrow morning I leave for Oktoberfest, have been working really hard lately so I am really looking forward to this time off, and what better way to spend it than getting pissed with Germans in Munich.
The plane leaves early and my cab arrives at 4:30 in the morning, it’s been getting really cold lately so I bet it will be freezing too. I prolly wont get a chance to blog while I am there but I will take heaps of photos on my new camera so I will add another galley once I get back.
Laters.

Last night I ventured out after spending the entire day curled up on the couch with a hang over from Friday night out in Woking with work friends.
Anyway Brick Lane was great, I mentioned awhile ago that I went there but only to a club, this time I ventured some curry from one of the many. If I didn’t mention last time, the street is like Bombay or something, it’s entirely Indian and every store is a curry restaurant and they have guys out the front trying to tempt you in with discounts and free drinks. Much like Lygon St in Melbourne with the Italian restaurants. It’s fantastic.
Today I have been really slack and didn’t do much other than afternoon Coronas and lime, a little design work for a client and cooked up some stew for lunches.
Got a pretty full week ahead of me at work but come Saturday I am off to Munich for Oktoberfest which I am really chuffed about. Will post heaps of drunkin photos I’m sure.
