Last night I ventured out after spending the entire day curled up on the couch with a hang over from Friday night out in Woking with work friends.
Anyway Brick Lane was great, I mentioned awhile ago that I went there but only to a club, this time I ventured some curry from one of the many. If I didn’t mention last time, the street is like Bombay or something, it’s entirely Indian and every store is a curry restaurant and they have guys out the front trying to tempt you in with discounts and free drinks. Much like Lygon St in Melbourne with the Italian restaurants. It’s fantastic.
Today I have been really slack and didn’t do much other than afternoon Coronas and lime, a little design work for a client and cooked up some stew for lunches.
Got a pretty full week ahead of me at work but come Saturday I am off to Munich for Oktoberfest which I am really chuffed about. Will post heaps of drunkin photos I’m sure.

The other day my new replacement camera arrived in the mail. I got myself a Fuji Finepix F100fd, a 12Mp compact with a zoom lens.
It was a little more expensive than the old one that was stolen (about $50) but it’s well worth it.
So yeah more photos to come, and I will most definately be backing all of them up as soon as I can to avoid anymore losses.

This weekend I haven’t been feeling too well, I have a weird infection in my elbow that I am on antibiotics for and generally ain’t feeling great. I took Friday off work too, so today I am finishing some website designs for ‘Tourism Thailand’ (a client of ours) that are needed by Monday.
Ventured out to the ‘Borough Markets’ at London Bridge yesterday after the recommendation from a few people. It was great, loads of fresh foods, cheeses, meats and seafood too. Reminded me a lot of the Barcelona Markets, except they were still better. I had this fantastic Chorizo burger with rocket and roasted pepper.
The weather here is starting to fade away as summer is now over, it’s raining pretty much everyday and the temperature has dropped considerably. Next pay I am going to invest in some more jackets and prolly a few more jeans as I retire my board shorts until next year.
Oktoberfest is coming up in 2 weeks, which I can’t wait for. I leave Saturday morning and come back on Wednesday, so I am taking a couple of days off work but I think I have earned it.
Will be meeting up with Emily, her sister and Rachel from Brisbane as they are all over here in the UK now and also going to Oktoberfest so it will be good to see some familiar faces (even if they are all girls and we are going to a beer drinking festival).
Happy birthday Dad for Wednesday and Happy fathers day for today, I hope you enjoy the DVD’s.

It has only taken me all weekend non-stop to get this thing up and customised to a point where I am happy, but it’s done. I have used a WordPress theme and done some hardcore customising including integrating a tonne of plugin. So I am now all web2.0 socialised!
The photos on the right side are from my Europe trip and are static at the moment, I plan to do more research and write something that can feed these from my Facebook or Flickr account.
If anyone has any comments please let me know. Leyton I know you must have a million changes you can recommend!
Ohh yeah I have managed all this because I have replaced my stolen laptop. Better CPU, more RAM and a bigger HDD ….for £30 less than the original, thank you crack-heads!.

Roman Baths - Bath
The weekend just gone I finally got out of London and visited Bath, a town just outside London (about 1.5hrs on the train). It’s a historical Roman Bath city with “The best preserved Roman architecture”. It was a really nice place but as I don’t have a camera due to it being fuking stolen all I have is the above photo from Wikipedia …although it is probably a thousand times better than one I would have taken. Maybe this is how I can fill the rest of my blog, google image search and wikipedia …soo much cheaper!
Anyway Bath was awesome, I went with a heap of friends and after the sights we got trashed at cocktail bars and then went to a pub for dinner. The place, entire town turned into a meat market after dark though with slappers and knobs out everywhere. I learned later on that there are Universities all around Bath and this is were the students come to drink
*Good news on the photo/robbery front, Flickr had most of my trip backed up so I have everything up to but not really including (only 2 photos) of Madrid. I can redo all my London photos but I am missing Madrid, Rome, Athens and Corfu Island
