I forgot to mention in my last post that I went to the Berlin Zoo!

Without a doubt the best zoo I have ever been to, as far as animals go anyhow…they had soo many. I have included the gallery (click the header image or check the gallery page on the right) all the photos from the day. I would have to say I enjoyed watching the monkeys/apes but feeding time in the large cat section was awesome….I saw a tiger tear a rabbit apart and the rabbits kidneys popped out!

There were ducks everywhere and they weren’t afraid of people, they would walk along the paths with you as like you were not even there.

My guide book mentioned a department store that had over 1000s varieties of sausage…so of course I went. The store itself had like 7 floors with the bottom being all designer brands of jewellery and fashion but the 3 top floors were all the food emporium in fact it’s listed as the “Worlds Largest Food Emporium”. They had little deli cabinets everywhere with a chef behind them and you could pick out fresh seafood, meat, or beer and they would cook/serve it to you right there at little bars……fantastic.

It was extremely expensive so I didn’t actually try anything but it was worth checking out.
